Think positively, Act responsibly!

We usually don't take bit of second to balme things on either system or government. But have we ever thought that this system/govt is created by us only...!
The freaks who run govt is. Because we've voted them to power; and now we don't have any right to point finger to them. Its ourselves to blame...
Until n unless we change ourselves as an individual and start doing our bit this society can't change!
So, think positively, act responsibly :)

My poem on Mysore.. :)

Yaad aata hai woh Mysore ka zamana,
Tha jo saath doston ka isiliye lagta sab kuch suhana..
Chalo kuch lamhein guzaarte hain saath,
Karte hain us zamaane ko yaad…

Shuru hue the din jo Orientation class se,
Ache lagne lage the din sab jo saath the…
Utar gayi sab ki hawa jab shuru hua exams ka daur,
Magar usme tha maza bohat pur zor…

Raaton ke 12 baje GEC1 ke seedhiyaan utarna,
Hostel tak ka rasta bak bak karte tay karna,
Phir subah uth kar apni lady bird ko dhundna,
Mil jaane par khush hona warna phir daud lagaaana!

Kya rehte the woh subah ke sessions,
Tha toh asal woh Lipton-Nescafe ka season,
Dopahar mein oongte hue hands on karna,
Aur woh last attendance ka be-sabri se intezaar karna.. J

Karte hain ab module exams ki baat,
Jis se ek din pehle hoti thi jagne ki raat ,
Jaan adhar hoti thi karte waqt paper submit,
Ban jaata tha din agar hojaaye A-grade hit…

Kaise bhool jaaoun, I need to mention,
Bohat hoti thi compre ki tension,
Par kisi bhi haal kar gaye use paar,
Ab hone lagi thi streams mein maraa-maar..

Jab aaye streams ke samaachaar,
Bat gaye .Net, Java, MF mein doston ke vichaar,
Classes hue alag, dost the door,
Par phir bhi milte the lunch-dinner pe zaroor..

Aur kaise bhoolein woh DJ nites aur fashion shows,
Jiske aane pe hota tha hafton pehle se shor,
Yaad hain mujhe woh sunsaan amphitheatre mein doston ke saath gaana,
Aur kabhi “Khaja mere Khaja” gaane pe do-teen thumke lagaana.. :P

Yeh thi kuch khaas yaadein,
Karte hain ab roz-marra ki baatein,
Khane se badke kuch nahi tha hamara talking point,
Har khaane mein nikaal lete the kuch toh kuch point..

Bohat pasand thi hamein FC1 ki biryaani,
Kaise bhool sakte hain saath hi Pathankot ki biryaani,
Woh meals, woh Delhi darbaar, woh can-o-la ka glass,
Mujhe toh bohat pasand tha FC6 ki lassi ka glass.. J

Aur pichle saal ka Ramzan tha sab se alag,
Phirte te iftar ke waqt dar-badar so woh alag..
Kya hi maze the FC3 ki sehri wali poori mein,
Aur phir saf bandh khade ho fajr ki namaz padhne mein..
Iftar ke waqt tak sabka haal hojaata tha behaal,
Par kya karein dinner kar humein padhai karni padti thi kisi haal.. L
Jab aayi thi eid Mubarak ki baari,
Acha nahi laga jab ghar na pohanch sak apni paltan saari..
Eid bhi thi sooni sooni doston ke bina,
Magar kya karein hamein bhi toh tha sheer-khurma peena.. :P

Yeh thi AZIZ ki yaari mysore aur doston ke saath,
Pasand agar aaye toh dad dete jaana haatho-haath…. :D

12 Rabbi-ul-Awwal

I guess we're just over-doing Milad un Nabi.. :(
Its the day to remember our Prophets SAWS guidelines which he gave us, Its the day to remember hardships our Prophet SAWS went thru for ummah..
But what I've seen is guys taking green flags in hands blocking the road in the name of clebration of Prophet's SAWS birthday! Thats not done.. We need to show the true picture of our relegion rather than creating chaos on road and blotting the image of Islam!
I urge everyone to do their bit and make people understand the importance of proper portrayal of our religion!!
Lets study more about our beloved Prophet's SAWS life and take follow his Sunnah, Ameen.

Telangana Protests

"T-issue" is not a new one for Andhra Pradesh. Telangana is factor since the formation of AP state! First it was bone of contention in 1967 and again its burning like fire.

This blog for me is about protests not about whether its right or wrong! As a Hyderabadi I'm just frustrated with these agitations. I DON'T WANT MY CITY TO HAULT just cause few people want to disrupt normal life! Its sick and insane!!
Above pic is taken by me near Nagol when the traffic on highway is stopped in the name of Telangana Protests -- Its frustrating!

If you want new state, protest in constructive way not by blocking roads, railways... Guys who seem to think for state must think for human beings first who live on daily wages.. If there's bandh in city, what a guy will feed to his family who work day for the dinner of his family!!

I hope these people could get some brain and understand how they're ruining the city's economy and name.. I feel DISAPPOINTED and ASHAMED when my city is called "not a peaceful place to live in!"

My take on IPL-2 Team's new outfits

There are changes done in outfits of teams in second season of IPL2. Here's my perspective on their changed look..

Banglore Royal Challengers:

I just loved this bright dress of Challengers. They refined their last dress and gave it a sparkling look. Golden lines on Dark Red are making them shine on the field specially at night. Best makeover I see is of their helmet which is now of Golden color. Its adding warrior look. Double thumbs up for the changes done in RC's dress.

Chennai SuperKings:

This team has made the least change in their outfit... Light Orange shade with yellow is going well showing exuberance and intensity but its not the best. They've chosen to continue their simple yellow colour which I think can be worked out more to look better.

Delhi DareDevils:

This team in my view can be sued by English Board!! Just look at their new outfit; a 'Vodafone' logo on chest would make it England's previous outfit.. C'mon, these franchise owner don't have eyes or what. We all know that Blue and Red is a royal combination but just blindly copying someone else is worst.

Deccan Chargers:

Here comes the drastic change. This is the team which learnt lessons from last season and threw their damn uncomplementing combination of T-shirt and trousers and come up with great looking colours! Its sorta dark royal blue with shine and much better when compared to their last season's outfit!!! It really looks damn cool now!

Rajasthan Royals:

The champions of first season liked to remain in blues! Few designer changes made it look bearable than the last seasons'. They don't had the best of outfits in first season! But now with golden borders here and there is making them look - ok!

Kolkata Knight Riders:

They rocked with their glamorous Black-Golden outfit last time. This time they refined their look; changes are visible here and there. Golden stripes on shoulder are now changed to one arm-side golden and other black. It looks good. But the sponsor's logo i.e. of Star Plus at their black takes away all the shine! Imagine Big Blue Logo on shiny Black-Golden outfit.. Awwgh!

Kings XI Punjab:

One more celebrity team! Mohali had changed their outfit once in first season only. This is their second change.. They made it look more shiny this time. Red colour is more bright and silver color is shining! Overall not the best but good!

Mumbai Indians:

Mumbai has maintained their decent outfit in season 2 also! They looked awesome last time in their blues and continues to rock this time also. But the thing i didn't like is the "Idea" logo which is printed on their front side of T's. Yellow colour is looking very bad on nice blue background..

I wish these logos can be customised for the dresses!!

IPL - An addition to NRI List?

Truly, Indian Cricket League is now International Cricket League..
With biggest extravaganza of cricket going abroad to South Africa, its asking few serious questions from Indians! Are we so in capable that we can’t provide security to 1000 people for a month?? Can’t we secure one stadium of country at a time??? After 61 years of independence we’re still helpless in providing security to foreigners!! It’s a blot on our country’s name :(
What if elections are ON? Don’t we have resources to work on simultaneously when IPL governing body was ready for all sorts of twisting in schedule! Its really a shame on Indian machinery and no doubt its going to be burning topic in this current election scenario! BJP will take on Congress government for the same, and cricket will get a political flavor...
Anyways from cricket point of view, IPL will be very much an international event now! Hopefully, free from inside politics of all regional cricket boards and might be safer in hands of franchises.
But the thing which is making me very glad is the international exposure our domestic players are going to get! Many aspiring youngsters from India who got the opportunity last time to rub their shoulders with international players; now they’ll be on moon getting chance to play in abroad conditions and couldn’t have ask more in the name of exposure :)
Financially, this time IPL won’t be able to make large revenues as that of last time cause expenditure in Africa would be on higher side when compared to India! But lets hope Mr. Modi’s team can pull off a great spectacle away from its original home...
